How To Make Donuts Without Donut Pan

How To Make Donuts Without Donut Pan

When you look at donuts, one of the first things you see is that they have a special shape; this shape makes them easy to eat and provides stability as you hold them by the hole in the middle. But if you do not have a donut pan, you don’t need it to make homemade donuts! This step-by-step guide will show you how to make donuts without a donut pan.

Here’re some of the ingredients you may need to make doughnuts from a muffin pan:

  • Aluminum foil
  • Cooking spray
  • Muffin pan

Over one of your fingers, place a square piece of aluminum foil. To cover each muffin cup in a muffin tin, it must be large enough. The best size for me seemed to be a 5″x5″ square.

To create a mold, gently fold the sides of the foil up around your finger. Next, put the lid on your muffin tin and press the filling into the cup. You will need to repeat this procedure for each cup. My time to create the foil inserts for the recipe below was approximately 15 minutes.

Donut Pans You Can Make

  • Have you ever wanted to make donuts but did not have a donut pan? That’s fine!
  • Tinfoil and a cupcake pan are all you need!
  • Wrap the foil around your middle finger by cutting the square into four equal pieces.
  • Put the shape that remains in the muffin tin after you remove your finger.
  • You’ll be left with a perfectly shaped donut hole tin that will yield round baked donuts. See how well this tray works with my Chocolate Cake Donuts.
